They can become enlarged with pregnancy, breastfeeding, being overweight, with gynaecomastia or in some people they are just naturally larger. Reducing the size of these is usually done by removing a circular section all the way round the areola leaving a circular scar.
The size and shape of your nipples and areolas contribute greatly to the overall appearance of your breasts. Your areolas and nipples can be reduced in size and/or modified to improve their shape so they appear more balanced.
